Founded in Toronto, Hot Docs is a documentary organization dedicated to the creation, presentation, and support of documentary film. For this project I was assigned to rebrand the identity to better reflect the vast scope of the company that includes an annual international documentary festival, year-round cinema programming, education initiatives, and professional development for filmmakers.
This new identity represents the brand’s mission to further documentaries, with this flexible aspect ratio rectangle an that is meant to be filled, by said documentaries and activities the brand contributes to.
