The colours of this book mimics the colourfulness and heat found in Caribbean food, but also in the climate. The gradients wash over the spread like waves of heat. The cover mimics the inside aura gradient starting point with the left side alignment and cloth texture.
Taste the Isle, a cookbook agglomerating all the most loved dishes of the Caribbean islands. This book is a tribute to those who are away from home, it brings the isle to them with authentic recipes and nostalgic visuals.
This layout features a vibrant gradient in the center of the spread. This creates an immersive colorful experience while also serving the concept. The seam of the spread creates an effect of the culture bursting through.
